Guaranteed university accommodation
The University of Canberra and its accommodation service providers are pleased to offer guaranteed accommodation to new and continuing UC international students and UC first-year domestic students, including UC Diploma and UC ELICOS students.
A number of beds are available at various price points. Available room types and weekly pricing including utility costs are listed on our University of Canberra Approved Accommodation Price Comparison Chart and the application forms on the accommodation service providers' websites.
Accommodation guarantee eligiblity
To be eligible for this offer, students at the University of Canberra (UC) or the University of Canberra College (UCC) must:
- be a new or continuing international student or a first-year domestic student;
- commence study, or re-enrol, in Semester 1 or Semester 2 of the year of application;
- undertake a course of study at the Bruce (Canberra, ACT) campus; and
- submit their application to an accommodation service provider prior to 31 December for commencement in Semester 1 and by 30 June for commencement in Semester 2.
Applications for accommodation are accepted at any time during the year but the guarantee can only be confirmed for applications received by the cut off dates above. Those applying after these dates and all tertiary students who are not eligible for the guarantee will be offered accommodation once all accommodation guarantee students have been placed.
