Unit Resources

Information for Students

If your lecturer requires you to read journal articles and/or book chapters, these should be available via your UCLearn (Canvas) teaching site. You can find the readings under Reading List on the left navigation bar.

Many of your readings may be available via Library Search.

Information for Teaching Staff

Reading lists can be used to provide students with access to the resources they need to participate effectively in a unit of study. The Reading List function in UCLearn allows you to provide students with a selection of hard-copy and online resources in various formats. The Reading List in UCLearn is powered by Leganto software.

Before creating a Reading List, you need to develop your teaching site. Visit UC Learn (Canvas)  for a comprehensive guide to creating your teaching site.

Reading Lists can be accessed collaboratively by teaching teams. This way, teaching teams can have shared access to the Reading List, or to privately shared resources for the unit.  Reading Lists can be accessed collaboratively by students, or by both students and teaching staff, for a shared approach to resource collection and evaluation.
